I first experienced Nigerians about 8 years ago but the ones I had at that time weren't good quality. They had teeny tiny teats and barely any milk. I soon found Mini Nubians and thought that would be the only breed for me. Then in 2023 I was the milk tester for someone who raised Nigerians, and those little goats slowly started to grow on me. I added one to my herd and soon I wanted some more. Thes Nigerians I currently own have nice sized teats and much better milk production than those I had years ago. My personal goal with my Nigerians is to breed for heavy milk production with the udder structure to support that milk. I'd also like to raise goats that can place well in a show ring.
